We are excited to announce NHYB’s 12U Red Select Team which has officially started their fundraising efforts for their Cooperstown Dreams Park Tournament.

What is the NHYB 12U Red Select Team?

This Red Team is selected from our recreation baseball program at the 12U age group to represent NHYB at the District Tournament Level.  The majority of this year’s team has been together as our Red Team since they were 8 years old and this year will be their last year with NHYB.

Why does this 12U Red team go to the Cooperstown Tournament?

Since 2014, North Hunterdon Youth Baseball has been providing the opportunity to our 12 year old boys select team members to play a memorable tournament in Cooperstown, New York.  This week-long tournament features over 100 teams from across the nation.  It is a 'once in a lifetime' experience for not only the players, but the coaches and families as well.  Games are played at Cooperstown Dreams Park, which features over 20 lighted fields.  The Dreams Park provides housing for players and coaches, 3 meals per day, uniforms, warm-up attire, rings, and membership into the American Youth Baseball Hall of Fame, among many other notable activities such as skills competitions, opening & closing ceremonies, fireworks, photos, and much more.

Why is the NHYB 12U Red Team Fundraising?

This is not just like every other tournament, the Cooperstown Tournament is a large expense which requires Fundraising.  Like all past 12U Red Teams for the last decade, the team solely looks to the NHYB community and beyond for their support to fundraise for their Cooperstown Tournament.

NHYB, along with the Team, will post on Facebook, Instagram and YouTube along with email blasts with all the opportunities to donate.
